

Rodger Douglas Webb, 62, passed away on December 16, 2017 at his home in Sheridan, Colorado. Rodger was born on June 14, 1955 in Denver, Colorado to Rodger Louis and Barbara “Bobbie”Anne (Maclure) Webb.
Doug spent the majority of his life as a Truck Driver, transporting heavy machinery across the United States for CAST Transportation Company. Recently, Doug was recognized as “Truck Driver of the Year”, which was an incredible honor. Despite Doug’s rugged appearance and tough demeanor, he had a heart of gold and his family and close friends were of huge importance to him. Perhaps his most remarkable quality was his protective nature as Doug would do absolutely anything for those he loved and cared for.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents; Rodger and Bobbie Webb, and his great-nephew; James Lee Brown. He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Winchester, his daughter Kristi (Gary) Kumpel, granddaughter Grace Kumpel, stepdaughters; Kendra Morton and Kelli Maresch (Mark Andre), step-grandson Luke, his siblings; Connie Webb, Lory Kreiensieck, Mike Webb, Barb (Mark) Ambrozic, and Dan Webb, his nieces and nephews; Andy Kreiensieck, Katie Kreiensieck (Sean Sullivan), Morgan Webb, Nick Webb, Max Ambrozic, Matt Ambrozic, Beth (Danny) Brown, and Mike Ambrozic, great nieces and nephews; Presleigh, Carson, Atticus, Abby, Charlie, and Dean, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and very dear friends. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Doug’s honor on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. Friends and family are invited to continue sharing memories and fellowship at a reception at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, immediately following.
In lieu of flowers or other memorial contributions, the family requests donations be made to assist with Doug’s funeral expenses. Checks may be made payable to Barbara Ambrozic.
