Rose "Rosie" Marie Teter

Rosie Marie Teter, 78, passed away peacefully on January 23rd, 2025 in Englewood, Colorado surrounded by loved ones. Rosie was born June 20th, 1946 in Sterling, Colorado to the late John and Pauline Hernandez. She was the youngest of seven children. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Bobby and by her siblings: Johnny, Mary, and Frankie.

Her early years were spent on a farm in Hillrose, Colorado where she amassed a collection of stories she loved to share. Rosie enjoyed spending time with her family, going to garage sales, and spending long nights at the penny slots with her sister Josie. She enjoyed meeting her sisters for breakfast, shopping, traveling and simply being in the presence of family. She took care of all those around her with both open arms and an open heart.

Rosie is survived by her two daughters Krista (Dennis) and Tammy (Brian), her Grandchildren: Michael, Daniel, Tristan, Devin, and Bobby; her Great-Grandchildren Bentley, Daxton, and Peyton; and siblings Josie, Lydia, and Billy.

A visitation for Rosie will be held Monday, February 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. A reception will occur Monday, February 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
