Hi Heidi (and family),  

Just thinking about Sean.  I do from time to time.  I thank him for the time that we had to discuss old times and catch up.  I didn't realize that he was as sick as he was - one of those things that we take for granted; our health and vitality. It is my sincerest hope that you are sorting things out.  It is not an easy thing to do but our faith in God helps us and knowing that Sean is with his parents and uncle is comforting.

I wanted to give a heartfelt thank you to all of the family and friends who came to Sean's Memorial service yesterday to say goodbye and share some fond memories. It meant a lot to myself, Arielle, and Gabriel. Your love and support have made what has been an extremely sad and difficult time a bit more bearable. For those who could not be there in person, please know that your prayers, kind words, and support are also appreciated. God bless each and everyone of you. 

I had the privilege of performing with Sean in theater. He was a great actor and singer and an all around stellar human being. He will be missed.

 I have such wonderful memories of Sean. We had so many laughs during our rehearsals and shows at GDGS theater.  I will always remember his sweet sounding singing voice.  I am blessed to have known him.

To The Family Of Sean;

I am so sorry.  Sean was a great man, a great father, and great husband and great friend.  He talked a lot about you (even bragged!)  and I can see that he had very good reason.   He had a great life with you and he loved you all very dearly.

Sean and I go way back to elementary school (Washington Park Elementary).  We were about 10 years old when we first met.  We walked the same route home from school in the Washington Park neighborhood and so we became close friends.  After school, I would run back to Sean’s house and we would play football or other games in his front yard until we all had to go home for dinner.   We repeated this routine every afternoon for many years .

Then we moved on together to Junior High School and then High School.  We continued on as best friends through our college years and beyond while we struggled to find direction in our young and sometimes confusing lives.

We put thousands of miles on our cars traveling up and down the streets of the Washington Park neighborhood, circling the park road countless times,  with many trips to bars and clubs and movie theaters all over the Denver metro area.  We traveled to California one summer in Sean’s Dodge Duster barely making it back through the Glenwood Canyon before it had flooded.  As we snaked through the Glenwood Canyon late that night, we had to slow down to avoid the river water which had splashed up onto the highway.

We shared an apartment together and Sean was best man at my wedding and I was best man at his wedding.  We were connected.

Few people can claim to have known someone so closely and for so long; approximately 50 years.  We saw it all and we did it all and we did it all together.  Every memory of that early time and many since have included Sean -- something that we did together or something that he said.  To this day something will pop into my head and I will think… Sean.

I will surely miss him.
