Anthony Michael Marino passed away peacefully at home on November 6th, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. His ability to stay strong and take care of the ones he loved in the midst of this fight, demonstrated not only how strong he was but also how much the people in his life meant to him.
Tony’s passion was people. The relationships that he had were strong and if you were one of his people you knew that he was ALWAYS there for you and would do anything for you. He lived to make people smile and he was very good at it, it came naturally to him. Tony was a loving husband, great father, and excellent grandfather.
Born in Baltimore, Tony was raised by his parents who he loved dearly and talked about often. At an early age he was very interested in sports and with his father’s encouragement he spent his childhood playing baseball and eventually went on to play in the minor leagues. He raised his Daughter Jessica and worked as a Business Agent in the beverage distribution industry. He excelled in his career due to his passion for customer service and his ability to establish strong, lasting relationships built on respect and trust. After visiting close friends in Colorado, Tony fell in love with the state and took advantage of an opportunity to move to Colorado in 1998. He accepted a job in the cable industry with Time Warner until he retired and met his Wife, Corrine Fantasia.
Tony is survived by his wife Corrine Fantasia, daughter Jessica Marino, his 2 sisters, Joann Eick and Donna Stachowski, extended family and an abundance of friends. Tony was proud to be known as “Grandpa Tony” to 5 very special grandchildren. We will all miss him more than words can say.
