Vera Montez

Vera Alvina Montez passed away on March 1, 2019. Vera was a faithful woman who loved spending time with her family and her church. She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Frances, Nora, Jeannie and Emma; her aunts and uncles, Helen Lange, Tony (Edna) Martinez, and Josie (Frank) Casados; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fidel "Mondo" Montez; her mother, Dora Mestas and her father and step-mother, Esequiel "Jake" and Emma Romero; her brother, Junior; and several other family members. Services for Vera will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 with visitation beginning at 9am and a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10am at St. Louis Catholic Church in Englewood. Memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor.
