

Veronica Eileen Neiswanger, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, left this world peacefully on December 17, 2023 at her home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She lived a long life, reaching a remarkable age on the cusp of 103.
Veronica was born in Broken Bow, Nebraska on February 17, 1921 to John and Loretta Rourke. Veronica is the last surviving of her nine siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years, Gale Neiswanger. Veronica and Gale met when they were just eight years old. They married at the age of twenty-one and finally settled in Denver, Colorado. Veronica and Gale had their first child, Jeffrey shortly after but he sadly died when he was just two months old. They are survived by their children Betsy Peterson and son Tim Neiswanger (Nancy), three granddaughters, Michelle Sesko (Jason), Lori Neiswanger and Amy Peterson(Gabe). Three great grandchildren, Kaylee Sesko and Evelyn and Daniel Rogers
Veronica was an avid golfer. She and her husband Gale would fly between their two homes, traveling to Naples, Florida to avoid the cold winters in Denver, so they could golf all year long. Both Veronica and Gale were excellent at their game; each making a hole-in-one at least once in their golfing adventures throughout the years. Veronica was also Ladies Chairman for the US Open in 1978.
Funeral Services and Burial-Chapel Hill Cemetery at Olinger 6601 So Colorado Blvd, Littleton 80212. Service starts at 1pm with viewing, service, burial and a reception following.
