William Earl Harfst

William Earl Harfst, was born May 20, 1939 age 82, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 due to complications of severe stroke in 2007 and COVID-19 in 2020. His stroke left him paralyzed on his right side. He was born and raised in Denver Colorado. Bill was married in 1958. He and Beverly had three children, David Harfst (Laurie) of Platteville Colorado, Jacquie Childs (Gary) of Pueblo Colorado, Scott Dunn of Pueblo Colorado.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, David and Dorothy Harfst and an infant daughter. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Rose Ann and his three children, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Bill loved to go four wheeling early in life, camping traveling, hunting and fishing. He liked to watch NASCAR races and all sports. He worked 47 years for Colorado Serum Company of Denver before retiring in 2003.

Bill and Rose Ann took two cruises, they were wonderful. We camped in Nederland Colorado and we went to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Saint Louis, and Branson Missouri.

A visitation for William will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121, followed by a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
