Bill was born on April 28, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, to Desmond and Mary Jane (Grant) Miller. The fourth of six siblings, he was raised with strong values of faith, hard work, and devotion to family. These qualities guided him throughout his life.
Bill met the love of his life, Cindy, when they were 14 at a parish carnival. In 1973, Bill and Cindy traveled throughout the western states, and landed in Colorado. They married in 1975. Their marriage of 50 years was a testament to enduring love, commitment, and partnership. Together, Bill and Cindy built a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. In 1978, they welcomed twin sons, Jason and Justin, to their circle of love. As the boys grew, they were a constant source of joy, pride, and love.
An excellent provider for his growing family, Bill worked for Wagner Equipment Company for 40 years, where he was a valued and dedicated employee. Bill worked his way through the ranks, from mechanic, to Product Support Sales Rep (PSSR), to Prime Product Sales. His work ethic was rewarded with four PSSR trips, culminating in Salesman of the Year in 2012.
Bill enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the backroads of Colorado and Texas. Bill will be remembered for his quick wit, easy going demeanor, and strong work ethic.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Des and Mary Jane Miller, and his son, Justin D. Miller.
Bill is survived by his wife, Cindy (Baumgardner) Miller, his son, Jason Miller, and his cherished granddaughter, Gemma Miller. He is also survived by siblings Maureen Montgomery and husband Jim; Nora Even and husband Lloyd; John Miller and wife Ann; Jean Brooks and husband Steve; and Helen Miller. Also survived by in-laws Marilyn O'Brien and husband Norm; Alan Baumgardner and wife Patty; David Baumgardner; and Janice Baumgardner-Maier. Bill is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Bill's legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
