A delayed response; we were students of him in 6th grade. We were reminiscing about our middle school experience and remembered Mr. Van Eron. He an amazing and a great person. Wishing he was still with us.

A little late of a not but he was my 6th-grade math teacher and he was a truly inspiring person for me and was one of my favorite teachers now I only wish we could have a person like him in high school.

My heartfelt condolences to Jim's family...a heartbreaking loss. I went to Oneonta with Jim. I knew him for a couple years and he always had a smile on his face.

I only knew "Jimbo" for a few months but he was truly good hearted man, brother, son, and friend. He is missed already by many I'm sure. Thoughts to the family during this hard time. RIP

I regret that I didn't get to know my cousin Jimmy better. I am nothing but impressed by all the kind words that his friends and family have posted over the last few days. My last memory of him was when our visiting Grandma at Florida overlapped and we hung out at the pool for a few hours. Sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you. 

My thoughts and prayers are with Kate, Russell, Katelyn and the rest of the Van Eron family. I hope you find comfort in each other. I couldn't imagine if anything ever happened to my son. This is a reminder that each day with him is a blessing and I shouldn't take a single day for granted.
