Louise Hubbs

Louise is survived by her children Jeanne (Arthur) of East Islip, NY, Kathy (Frank) of Middle Grove, NY and Richard (Pam) of Eagle Bridge NY, her grandchildren Dana (Andrew), Kyle, Olivia, Jeb and Matthew as well as her brothers Fred Steinmann (Irene), Charlie Steinmann (late Helen) and the late Henry Steinmann (late Maureen).

Louise worked at Gibby's Diner for 17 years in Quaker Street and attended her knitting group weekly, something she always loved to do. Her work in her gardens also kept her busy as did her word search puzzle books.

Her love and devotion for her children and grandchildren was very special to her and will be forever cherished. Vacations to Florida, Canada and Alaska were some of the highlights of her later years.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Saratoga Hospital, The Wesley Community, The Home of the Good Shepherd and The Bristol for the care they provided Louise.

Relatives and friends may call from 4-8pm on Wednesday, December 20 at O.B. Davis Funeral Home, 2326 Middle Country Rd, Centereach, NY 11720. The funeral will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 10 am. Interment will follow at 11 am at Washington Memorial Park 855 Canal Road, Mt. Sinai, NY
