Charles graduated from Central Private High School, went to Louisiana Tech, and received a master’s from LSU. He retired from the State Police Crime Lab as a forensic scientist, and then worked at Meaux Guns. He enjoyed fishing, shooting, and being with his daughter and best buddy, McKenna.
Charles was preceded in death by his grandparents, C. J. and Amber Watson.
He is survived by his daughter, McKenna; wife, Jennifer; parents, Sally and Charles Sr.; brother, Ryan Joseph; and family, Christina, Titus, C. J., and Nora.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation that will be held at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Rd., Central, LA 70818 on Sunday, March 6, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Visitation will then continue on Monday, March 7, at Zoar Baptist Church from 9 am until the memorial service at 11 am. A private burial will take place at a later date.
