

Corey Brandon Lanclos born August 1, 1977 in Opelousas, Louisiana, age 44, and raised in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana went to be with his savior on Friday, March 18, 2022 after a long battle with congestive heart failure. After graduating from Trinity Baptist Academy Corey proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed LSU and Saints football, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
He is survived by his parents Michael and Sharon Sue Prudhomme Lanclos; sister, Erin Lanclos; one nephew/best friend, Colin Lanclos, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Corey is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edmond Lanclos, Martin Bourgeois, Jr and Elaine Bourgeois; maternal grandparents, Raphael J. Prudhomme and Norma Jean Lalonde Prudhomme.
The family would like to thank his friends and family for all the calls, texts, and visits during this difficult time, the staff at St. Joseph's Carpenter House, and Corey's Cardiologist, Dr. Jay Hollman for their loving compassion, prayers, and care.
Family and friends are invited to attend the committal service at Louisiana National Cemetery on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 10:00 am. Pastor Dale Crawford of Trinity Baptist Church will be officiating the service.
