Hunter Chase Ashford, 28, of Central, LA passed away on Monday, June 10th, 2024. He was born to Nicole and Allen Hunt on September 19, 1995, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A 2014 graduate of Central High School, Hunter was a family man who loved cooking, welding, and always lending a helping hand to those in need. But most of all, he loved his time with his wife and sons.
With a heart of gold, he was passionate, brave, strong, and respectful young man with a goal of making everyone feel loved. He loved his job as rigging supervisor at Turner Industries.
He was preceded in death by his meme, Cheryl “Mickey” Ashford and cousin, Emily Ashford.
Hunter is survived by his wife, Braegan Ashford and two sons, Hunter Chase Ashford and Brantley Hayes Ashford. Grandparents, Roy Ashford (Darlene Brown) and Wayne Hunt (Glynda). Uncle, Wesley Ashford (Stacy). Aunt, Renee Bearden (Chad). Siblings, Heather Hunt, Dylan Hunt, and Marshall Hunt.
Cousins, Jade Ashford, Chris McGowan (Miranda), Chance McGowan, Claire Langley (Conner).
Pallbearers will be his best friends/brothers, Michael Yarbrough, Michael Rispone, Ryan Bowman, Alex Baker, Chris McGowan, and Chance McGowan.
A visitation will be held at Central Funeral Home on Monday, June 17th from 10:00 am until services begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Sandy Creek Baptist Cemetery.
