

Thomas Fred Linxwiler passed away on April 26, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 69. He was a native of Monroe, Louisiana. Although he resided in Central, his heart will always be in Zachary, as a Bronco. He was a proud electrician, fisherman, outdoorsman, friend to all, grandfather, father, and most of all a loving husband.
His love for the Lord showed through his kindness and work. His family, especially his grandchildren, were his world.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lori Gerald Linxwiler; sons, Brian Thomas Linxwiler and wife Joy, Blake Gerald Linxwiler and wife Jamie; daughter, Ashtyn Linxwiler Morris and husband Zack; his heart, 8 grandchildren Aspen Lea Linxwiler, Sage Marie Linxwiler, Cooper Gerald Morris, Presley Ray Linxwiler, Cambre Rita Morris, Emmie Kate Linxwiler, Briggs Thomas Linxwiler, and Bella Grace Linxwiler; his sister, Paula Baughman and her husband Craig; his baby sister, Cheryl Jordan and her husband Eddie; his loving mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lorraine and Gaston Gerald; his brother-in-laws, Darrell Gerald and wife Patti, and Kendall Gerald and wife Sue.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Linxwiler and Rita Kling Linxwiler.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation Thursday, April 28 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Central Funeral Home located on 9995 Hooper Rd., Central, LA 70818. Visitation will continue Friday, April 29, 2022 at Zoar Baptist Church on 11848 Hooper Rd., Baton Rouge, LA 70818 from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will then immediately follow at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery.
We would like to send our heartfelt appreciation to his outstanding team of doctors: Wesley Penn, Ron Ceruti, Kevin Reed, Chris Thomas, and his amazing nurse, Kaitlun Bridges, who was his angel through this time. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children's Foundation.
