

Steven Keith Hanger gained is wings on January 3, 2022. Steve was born on August 21, 1961 in Morton, Washington. He graduated from White Pass High School in 1979. He spent his life in Glenoma, Washington where he raised his children. Steve spent most of his career working in lumber mills however, his true passion was coaching. Throughout the years he coached an array of basketball, baseball, football, and track teams. In his spare time, you would find him on camping trips or beach trips with his family. Steve’s most treasured time was spent with his grandchildren, whom were his entire world.
Steve is survived by his mother, Hazel Hanger (Garrison) of Glenoma, WA, his children; Devin Hanger, Damon (Chelssi) Hanger of Randle, WA, BayLee (Brent) Rice of Onalaska, WA, Coy Hanger (Kylie Fuller) of Glenoma, WA, his grandchildren, Whelen Rice, Lincoln Hanger, Maverick Rice, Colton Hanger and Audree Hanger. As well as his siblings, Ron (Elaine) Hanger, Robin Hanger, Susan (Kerry) Hunter, Tracy (Klon) Bloomstrom, Dick (Becky) Hanger, Janelle (Douglas) Astrop, Jack (Luci) Hanger as well as many many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of which he loved very dearly. Steve Hanger is preceded in death by his father Keith Hanger and his grandson Walker Jayce Rice.
Steve had the biggest, most genuine heart and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
There will be no funeral services.
