Billy Wayne Kinard

Billy loved to watch Auburn football, his children and grandchildren play sports, watching Braves games and coaching little league baseball and football. He served in the National Guard for 25+ years and was employed by Kimberly Clark at several locations during his career of 30+ years.

He is preceded in death by parents, J.D. and Icie Lee Kinard; sister in law Glenda Kinard.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Becky Kinard; children Loran Kinard (Lana), Lori Johnston (Brandon), and Jordan Kinard (Tara); brothers, Bobby Kinard (Mary), Jeff Kinard (Judy), and Joey Kinard; 10 grandchildren; Morgan Johnston, Emily Norris (JE), Wes Kinard, David Kinard, Thiago Kinard, Kimber Kinard, Samira Kinard, Miguel Kinard, Ava Fisher, and Austyn Kate Kinard.

His Pallbearers for the service include: Josh Colburn, Clay Jones, Sammy Kornegay, Michael Sprewell, Rodney Stabler, and Chris Young. Honorary Pallbearers include: Dr. John Meigs, Dr. George Hemstreet Dr. Ranju Chandrashekariah, Dr. Waleed Siddiqi, former employees of Kimberly Clark, McMillan Trucking, and Staff of Hospice of West Alabama.

A visitation will be held for Billy on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 10:30-11:00 with a funeral service to follow at 11 am. Burial will be at Kinard-Mathis Cemetery in Brent, Al.
