Mrs. Carol E Ponder

On Friday, May 28, 2021, Carol Elizabeth Ponder, "MawMaw", a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Calvin Ponder, and her son, Thomas Jackson Ponder. She was born in Leaksville, Mississippi on August 29, 1936 into a family with twelve sisters and two brothers.

She leaves behind a son, David Leon Ponder (Teresa), three daughters, Pamela June Young (Ronald), Debra Karlene Ingram (Dale), and Janie Ponder Kinard, 14 grandchildren, and 23 great Grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, MawMaw has asked for donations to cancer or heart funds.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Pondville Baptist Church from 10AM - 11AM with the service starting at 11AM. Burial will follow at Pondville Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ken Blake and Rev. David Grisham presiding.
