Ashley was born December 18, 1974, in Spartanburg, SC, a daughter of Michelle McLennan McGee and husband Chuck and the late Ralph Phillips, Jr.
Surviving in addition to her mother and stepfather, are two daughters, Kayla of Florida and Lola of Chicago; three sisters, Libba Phillips Mullins of Florida, Gabby McGee of Florida and Ginny McGee of Texas. Also three brothers; Marc Phillips of Spartanburg, Matt Phillips of Greenville and Kyle Phillips Siefert of Charlotte. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Rev. Bob McLennan and Joyce McLennan and her paternal grandparents, Margaret B. Phillips and husband George Brown and the late Brig. Gen Ralph Phillips, Sr.
