Mr. Nichols entered into rest at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha Martin Nichols; son, Paul Allen Nichols(RoByn); daughter, Valerie Bassette; sister, Carol Shoults; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was born in Brent, AL and preceded in death by his parents, Murray and Irene Nichols. In lieu of flowers, family request that donations be made to his church, Fellowship Baptist Church at 314 Burnett Ferry Rd. Rome, GA 30165
