Gerard Dale Kornegay

Gerard D. Kornegay, age 76, of Centreville, Alabama passed away on Thursday November 7, 2019. Gerard was born March 31, 1943 in Alabama to Billy and Mary Lee Kornegay. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Kornegay of Centreville; sons, Steve Kornegay(Ann) of West Blocton and Michael Kornegay of Brent; daughters, Melissa Tidwell(Gary) of Brent, Tracy Higginbotham(Joey) of Lillian, Sharon Buford(Jim) of Centreville and Amanda Hoggle(Barry) of Centreville; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Billy, Larry and Warren Kornegay and son in law, Ronnie Jackson.

Funeral service will be Monday, November 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, Oakley Ave, Centreville, Alabama. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service with burial in Enon Cemetery in Centreville. Rev. Roasco Kornegay officiating.
