Johnny Wayne Ray, age 63, of Centreville, AL entered into rest on Sunday, September 19, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Hicks Ray of Centreville, AL; one son, Eric Wayne (Tonya) Bigham of Centreville; three brothers, Eugene Ray of Dothan, AL, Mark Shaw of Brierfield, AL, Billy Shaw of Centreville, AL; two sisters, Kathy Hutchins (Marshall) of Northport, AL, Wanda Gail Waddell (Mike); one sister-n-law, Regina Adkins and one grandchild Isaac Charles Bigham. Bro. Johnny Ray was a preacher for over 40 years. He was faithful to God and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved being outdoors and gardening but what he loved doing most was helping others.
Visitation wasFriday, September 24, 2021 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church from 11AM - 12PM. Funeral Service will begin at 12PM with Rev. Ernie Wilson presiding. Burial will follow at adjoining cemetery.
