She was preceded in death by her husband, RC Simmons; son, Rogers Simmons; daughter, Patricia Creel Brewster; brothers, BW Creel, Clifton Creel, Hester Creel, Elbert Creel and Jewell Creel; and sisters, Maude Creel Peterson, Retha Creel Deason, Ressie Creel Deason and Ruby Creel Long. Margie is survived by her son, Roland Simmons (Mary Jane) of Forest, MS; 8 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-great grandson.
A graveside service for Margie will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Centreville Memorial Cemetery, Mill St, Centreville, Alabama. Rev. Steve Vernon will officiate.
