Shirley E. Foster, age 83, of Centreville, Alabama, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 7th 2021. Shirley was born on August 1st 1938. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Richard L. Foster. She is survived by her son, Rick Foster (Karen) of Boaz, and daughters, Vicki Bolding (Billy Howard) of Randolph and Amy Hatter (Bobby) of Centreville. Shirley is also survived by her siblings, Nelda Epton, Howard Edwards (Peggy), Jean Perry, and Harold Edwards (Carolyn). She was a beloved 'MawMaw' to 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was a devoted member of Brent Baptist Church for over 60 years, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and singing in the Brent Baptist Church choir. Shirley also served as Deputy Circuit Clerk for 30 years. She and her husband were generous, loving servants of the Lord and were well respected members of the Bibb County community. Shirley's legacy will remain in the hearts and minds of those who loved her for many years to come.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Brent Baptist Church from 10AM - 12PM. Funeral Service will begin at 12PM. Rev. Jim Headley and Pastor Bo Hamilton presiding. Burial will follow at Pineland Memorial Cemetery in Centreville.
