Shane was a bright light shining for His Lord and Savior. We count it a privilege to have shared in some small part in his walk here on earth. He will be greatly missed but his light shines strongly on in all of the lives that he has touched over the years.

We have such cherished memories of Shane...from playing and singing at his church to having you guys spend the night with us in TN. We visited a local restaurant, came back to the house, and stayed up till 2:00 in the morning laughing & talking. Emiliann was asleep on the couch in Shane’s arms. Now that Shane’s in heaven, he makes us want to share the gospel more like he did. What a precious soldier of God.

Mrs. Cindy you all have my DEEPEST CONDOLENCES. I met Mr. Cochran @ UAB Kidney Transplant Clinic. He was the sweetest, most gentle, kind hearted, caring, loving, GOD fearing person in the world!!! He TRULY LOVED his family & THE LORD! His coordinator would give us frequent updates & we all kept you all in our prayers. She informed us today that he passed Monday & our hearts were truly hurt. He really fought a good fight. I know he's in HEAVEN smiling & hugging our LORD & SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. We are here for you. GOD DOESN'T MAKE ANY MISTAKES.

Shane was the most special man that I had the opportunity to work with and considered a dear friend. He was always positive and happy no matter what! He didn't always choose the correct foods to keep his diabetes in check and I would fuss at him and he would just bow his head and smile and then hug me and say; I know Ms. Dawn but it's going to be alright! I just couldn't help but love him!
He loved everyone no matter what! I know he is singing and praying next to our Lord today. I've prayed for him everyday since he went into the hospital and now I will pray for all of his family that will be here to carry on his legacy!

Shane was a special friend and Brother in Christ. He always had God first in his life and shared His Love with anyone he met. Loved to hear him Preach. He loved his family, Cindy and Emiliann. When they got their daughter you could see the gleaming in his eyes and also you could see Cindy's love for her. Shane will be missed by his family and friends alike. I can see him walking down those streets of gold with Bro Ben and maybe Paul and John. We will be praying for Cindy and Emiliann for the weeks and months to come.

I remember Shane as a young person leading music at Eoline Baptist Church. He was a very willing person to serve the Lord and left a very favorable impression every time I preached at Eolne.

Brother Shane was such a blessing to all who met him and knew him. He loved the Lord, his church families; he dearly loved his family and had a special place in his heart for Emiliann. He will be greatly missed but has left a legacy in the lives that he touched. Precious Memories of my Brother in Christ
