

Alexander Louis Randazzo, a veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the age of 80. He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Georgia Fontenot Randazzo. Loving father of Cynthia Randazzo Dotson (Herb) and Kathy Randazzo Anderson (Mark). Son of the late Henry and Dominica Palermo Randazzo. Brother of Anthony and Henry Randazzo. Proud grandfather of Ashley Dotson White (Justin), Alex Dotson, Matt Anderson, Dan Anderson and Chris Anderson. Great-grandfather of Brayden White. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Alexander was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish where he enjoyed a long career as a welder for Boh Bros. for 40 years. He was well loved and will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, in-law and a friend of many, who loved his country and treasured his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend an evening visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, May 30th from 6:00PM – 9:00PM and again on Saturday, May 31st from 12:00PM – 2:30PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:30PM. Alexander will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
