Arnold Joseph Rodriguez

Arnold Joseph Rodriguez passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Phyllis Morris Rodriguez for 54 years. Loving father of Phyllis Rodriguez Duffy (Michael) and Holly Rodriguez Volion (Danny). Son of the late Arnold Francis Rodriguez and Josephine Melerine Rodriguez. Brother of Diane Bourgeois, Sharon Graham and the late Cinda Melerine. Proud grandfather of Henley Volion and Christian Volion. Great grandfather of Cooper Madere. Also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Arnold was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. Early in life Arnold made a living as a commercial fisherman who later in life enjoyed many other business endeavors. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1961- 1967. He will be forever remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Always putting family first he selflessly gave to others before himself. He was loved and will be deeply missed by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2805 Bayou Rd., St. Bernard, LA on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 AM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Catholic Church Cemetery.
