Barbara Jean Engolia, a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, just days before her 7oth birthday. She was the daughter of the late Anthony Engolia and Lillian Harrison Engolia. Barbara was once married to the late Rickie Lewis and is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Lewis, grandchildren Freddie Hartwick IV and Chloe Hartwick, and great-grandson Freddie Hartwick V.
Barbara is also survived by her sisters JoAnn (Harold) Kessling, Susan (James) Achee, Sheila Buckley, Shirley Rivers, and brothers Anthony (Bridgette) Engolia and Stanley (Donna) Engolia. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date to celebrate Barbara’s life.
