

Charleen Ann Doizé Clement passed peacefully away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the age of 74. She was the cherished wife of 50 years to O’Neil Felix Clement. Loving mother of Michael Clement (Tracy), David Clement (Lauren), Jeffrey Clement (Tamara) and William ‘Billy’ Clement (Lindsey). Daughter of Rita Parra Doizé and the late Charles S. Doizé Sr. Sister of Charles ‘Buddy’ Doizé Jr., Billy Doizé, Jamie Blazek, Armand Doizé, Paul Doizé and the late Eddie Doizé. Proud grandmother of Zachary, Noah, Michael Carson, David Jr., Cole, Colin, Daniel, Miranda, Meghan and Mallory Clement. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Charleen was a registered nurse and received her diploma from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, New Orleans in 1962. She was a member of the Red Hat Society as well as the Old Rose Society. Charleen was a master gardener in St. Bernard Parish and a volunteer for the American Red Cross. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched. Special thanks to Jennifer Regan with St. Joseph’s Hospice and Annie Harris for their care and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend an evening visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
