Christopher David Brandt

Christopher David Brandt, a proud resident of da parish, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the age of 29. He was the cherished husband of his beloved Melissa Rocher Brandt. Son of Steven and Deborah Giardina Brandt. Brother of Kerri Brandt Switzer (Steven) and Carly Rae Brandt. Uncle of Claire Diana Switzer and Lydia Catherine Switzer. Grandson of the late Joseph and Millie Brandt, Ralph Giardina (Linda) and Diana Giardina. Chris was a beautiful, fun loving and giving person. He was a friend to everyone he met. Chris graduated from Andrew Jackson High School, Class of 2004. He attended Southeastern University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree - Industrial Technology in 2009. Chris was a member of NO Drift, Gethsemane Lutheran Church and was the Vice President of the Downtown Irish Club. He will be forever remembered as a loving and devoted husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends, also employees of N. J. Malin and Associates are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM. A funeral service will begin at 2:30 PM. A reception and celebration of life will follow in the Magnolia Room at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
