Eugene "Vinny" Plake Jr.

Eugene Plake Jr, better known as "Vinny Snow", age 34, passed away on March 29, 2022. He was born October 27, 1987, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Vinny loved the city of New Orleans, the food, the people, the music and of course the New Orleans Saints! He was the loving father of Vincent and Vantz Snow; son of Carmen Snow and Eugene Plake Sr. (Trina); Brother of Gianna Sensat, Grandson of the late Ray Wilbert, the late Martha Eskine and Josephine Lartigue; and great nephew of Joann Lartigue. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Vinny loved his boys Vincent and Vantz Snow that he shared with Paige Drolla. He left them with great guidance and goals. He was teaching them how to become young entrepreneurs by giving them free tips on trading Forex and the value of a dollar. They worked out daily and ran miles together! He showed them a healthy lifestyle and that staying active is what strengthens the mind and body! He taught them that it is okay to be uncomfortable when trying new things because with change and discomfort comes growth and success! Vinny loved encouraging and supporting them on the wrestling mat. He enjoyed Sundays at the lakefront with his boys and playing football, fishing and video games! The boys love their dad‘s fashion style so much they even tried to fit in his clothes! They always bragged about how Fresh their Daddy was and they plan to follow in his footsteps of greatness!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a gathering on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Celebration Church 7500 W. Judge Perez in Arabi from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held in his memory at 10:00 AM.
