Evelyn Rose Fals Buuck

Evelyn Rose Fals Buuck passed away peacefully on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the age of 91. She was married to the love of her life Armand Joseph Buuck for 68 years. Loving mother of Armand “Stretch” J. Buuck Jr. (Debbie), Kenneth James Buuck (Tammy) and Robin Buuck Calecas (Larry). Daughter of the late Henry Fals Sr. and Carrie Cooley Fals. Sister of the late Henrietta F. Berel, Henry Fals Jr. and George Bitterwolf. Proud grandmother of Andre Joseph Buuck, Patrick David Buuck, Dalton James Buuck (Renee) and Brittany Nicole Calecas. Great grandmother of Aiden Joseph Buuck and a future Buuck on the way, arriving in October. Also survived and fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Millie Buuck, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Evelyn loved spending time with her family especially on Sunday’s when her children and grandchildren would come over for lunch and enjoy wine, beer and cheese. She looked forward to game days to watch and cheer on the Saints and talking about the good times. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family, friends and all of those whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Pastor John C. Ramsey of First English Lutheran Church in Metairie, LA will officiate. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
