To: Christian and Melissa Serpass. Lynn and I are saddened to hear of your Mom's passing (Helen Serpass).  Christian, your Mother had a profound love for all of you. It is important that Melissa and Christian remember all the good times ya'll shared with your parents and siblings while they were still on GOD'S GREEN EARTH.  Christian and Melissa's memories of their parents and siblings have become treasures that ya"ll will cherish for the rest of your lives on MOTHER EARTH. With THY GRACE OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER, Melissa and Christian  will be able to obtain the necessary strength in order to go through the grieving process. Nevertheless, it is never easy  to lose our parents, spouses, siblings, children and grandchildren.  However,  the fact of the matter is, we never really lose them.  They are merely in a different place. Your loved ones will not be forgotten.  They will always be in your memories and in your hearts too. THE WORD OF GOD reads,"to be absent from  the body is to be in the presence of  OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. " Christian and Melissa see the  body of Helen. What you love about her is not dead, but alive and well in the presence of JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR where there is no more sickness, no pain, no growing old and no death.  One day Melissa and Christian will be reunited with their parents and siblings in their NEW HEAVENLY HOME and be able to share the same  experience. Christian,  your Mother and Father and your siblings are enjoying every moment of ETERNAL LIFE IN THEIR HEAVENLY HOME. May JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR BLESS Christian and Melissa during this time of Sorrow. Lynn and I will keep Melissa and Christian in our prayers during this most difficult time.  RIP Miss Helen.

Chris and Melissa,   Mom and I were so saddened to hear about Aunt Helen’s passing.  We are truly sorry we couldn’t have made the service today.  Aunt Helen meant the world to Mom and I.  We send our thoughts and prayers to you and your family.  We are happy Aunt Helen is with Uncle Paul and Mary Francis now.

Christian and Melissa, I am so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. We visited a year and a half ago when I was in town for business. Like most people, Katrina displaced me to Texas so I will not be able to attend her services but do know my long-time bowling buddy has always been in my thoughts and prayers. I know it will be a difficult time for you because you have been such a great son to her. Helen was always a strong, opinionated person, but always caring. Now she will be in the arms of her Heavenly Father and with her beloved Paul.

Chris, when I saw your call the other night, I instantly knew the conversation we were about to have. I offer you my deepest condolences, an ear and shoulder anytime.  I know how much  your Mother (Aunt Helen) meant to you as  my mother does to me. If you think about it, the whole Serpas family has been a voice. Journalist and song writers.  Your mother, father and sister’s voices live in you. She’s in an even better place now. Celebrate her!!
