Mr. Brown was the husband of the late Ruby Lee Winget and formerly of Mazie Dupuis Jackson, mother of his five children; son of the late Fred and Justine Thibodeaux Brown; father of Cynthia Theriot (the late Andre), Marsha Bernheisel (Michael), Scott Brown (Gail), Donna Hotard (Curtis) and the late Frederick Brown; grandfather of 11; great-grandfather of 17; great-great grandfather of 1. He is also survived by numerous other family members.
Mr. Brown proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a plant manager with the Hormel Corporation and retired after 40 years of service.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to McDonald Funeral Home of Picayune, Mississippi, Forrest General Hospice of Mississippi, and to Michael Logan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Mr. Henry Brown and his son, Frederick Brown, will both be interred in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
