Jane P. Provanzano Marengo

Jane Ann Provanzano Marengo passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2014. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her life. She was the cherished wife of 47 years to Lukey Lucien Marengo III. Loving mother of Keri Lee Marengo Domingo and Luke Joseph Marengo. Daughter of Joseph and Verna Ferguson Provanzano. Sister of Joseph D. Provanzano. Proud grandmother of Kali Jane Domingo and Wade Henry Domingo Jr. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many cousins, relatives and dear friends. Jane was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of St Bernard Parish where she enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a wedding photographer for 33 years. She was currently residing in Picayune, MS where she was a dedicated parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Jane was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother “Nana” and a friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her love, kindness, laughter and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, June 4th from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Jane’s memory beginning at 1:00PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
