. Louis Peter Despaux III Louis “Do Do” Peter Despaux III, 67, died on June 9, 2015 from congestive heart failure. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 11, 1947, to Evelyn Blanchard Despaux and the late Louis Peter Despaux Jr. Louis was a resident of St. Bernard Parish for 58 years and worked in the commercial produce and fishing industries. Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Unbehagen Despaux, son, Louis IV and sister Antoinette “Annie” Fisher. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy St. Philip (and husband, Chuck) and Kristin Bachemin (and husband, Patrick), sons, Jason Phillips (and wife, Anita) and Kory Despaux, and six grandchildren, Tyler and Jordan St. Philip, Natalie, Lauren and Nicholas Phillips, and Kinleigh Bachemin. He is also survived by his mother, Evelyn and sisters, Gwendolyn “Sister” Reese (and husband Ronnie) and Barbara Boudousquie. Other survivors include his companion of four years, Cheryl Herwig, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1340 8th St, Slidell, LA 70458. The family will receive visitors from 4:30 PM until the Memorial Service at 6:30 PM.
