Dear Aunt to the children of Charles Palmer. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew and loved her. Granny loved God and her family and lived a Christian life through her unselfish love and kindness to others. She loved animals and was compassionate towards all of God’s creatures. She was a current parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and former parishioner of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Granny was always there to comfort us and saw the good in everyone. She dried our tears, helped us to conquer our fears and loved us deeply through all of our years. She was the coolest Granny around and enjoyed entertaining her grandchildren and telling them her life stories and of their heritage. Granny loved cooking and feeding everyone. She had a gentle nature, a generous and giving heart and an innate and hilarious sense of humor. Granny was the strength and glue of our family. She lived a beautiful life, leaving behind her legacy in the hearts of her children and grandchildren as an everlasting keepsake. Granny, you mourned for the loss of your Son, Roy and now you are safe with him. Until our hands meet yours again, God will have you in his keeping and we will have you in our hearts. Rest now our beautiful Granny; we will never forget how much you have done for us. You’ve always been our Angel and now you have your wings, so watch over us our dearest Angel from above. Special thanks to Chalmette Dialysis Center, Lena Wallace, Fr. Luke Nguyen, Adrienne Lezina, Danny Weir, Doctors, Nurses and Staff who provided her care and comfort.
