Peter J. Deogracias IV

Peter J. Deogracias IV passed away on Saturday August 28, 2021 at the age of 32. He was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. He worked in the fishing community and was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints. He was the loving son of Peter J. Deogracias III & Donna Baker, Stacey & Kevin Cure. Devoted father of Baylee (Theresa), Koda and Liliana (Destiny). Beloved brother of Raechelle (Paul), Brielle (Rob) and Patrick. Step-brother of Danielle. Uncle of Trey, Gracie, Ellie, Joseph and Jaxon. Grandson of Betty Neitzschman and Barbara Deogracias. Nephew of Laurie, Dawn, Tammy and Bryan. Peter was preceded in death by his grandfathers Peter Deogracias Jr, and Joseph Neitzschman. He is also survived by his beloved cousins Marty, Bryan, Joseph, Amber, Katelin, Mindy, Dorothy and Valerie as well as many family members and close friends that adored him. He was well loved and will be deeply missed by his family and by all those whose lives he touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, September 13th from 10:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service in Peter’s memory beginning at 1:00PM. He will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, face masks and social distancing are required.
