

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph J. Kael and Betty Brossette Kael; his brother, Bryan Kael; and his sister, Rebecca K. McClelland.
Randall is survived by his beloved sons, Randall Christian Kael (Jennifer), Ross Channing Kael (Alysia), and Reid Colin Kael (Angelle); his brothers, Rudy Kael (Michele), Mark Kael (Julie), and Shawn Kael (Connie); and his twelve cherished grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life.
A devoted public servant, Randall was a proud member of the St. Bernard Parish Fire Department, where he served his community faithfully for 18 years before retiring in 1997. His dedication to service and deep love for his parish were evident to all who knew him.
Randall will be remembered for his larger-than-life stories, quick wit, and unwavering loyalty to family. He especially treasured time spent with his brothers sharing cigars, laughter, and memories of the “good old days.”
He leaves behind a legacy of strength, service, and deep family bonds that will continue through generations.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA 70043, on Monday, February 23rd from 9:00AM – 11:00AM, followed by a memorial service in Randall’s memory beginning at 11:00AM. He will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Randall’s memory to the St. Bernard Parish Fire Department, in honor of his years of service and dedication to the community he loved.
