Sally Culotta Villar passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the age of 95. She was the cherished wife of the late Fontan H. Villar. Treasured daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Del Buono Culotta. Devoted sister of Charles Culotta, Mary Daigrepont, Vincent Culotta and the late Anna Taranto, Catherine Duncan, Philip Culotta and Agatha Kennedy. Beloved sister-in-law of Gloria Trosclair. She is also survived and fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Sally was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before settling at Heritage Manor in Mandeville for the past 3 years. The family would like to extend a special thanks and sincere appreciation to the staff at Heritage Manor for the personal care they provided for Sally. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, March 23rd from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 1:00PM. She will be laid to rest with her husband in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
