Sandra Dufrene, 72, of Chalmette, passed away on October 1st, in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Sandra is survived by her daughters, Sheila Celino (Scott), Charlene Dufrene (Gilda), her granddaughters Lauren Lowe (Rene), Marigny and Marley Cortez, and great granddaughter Cameran Lowe. She is preceded in death by the late Herrick and Addie Soldani, Leewood and Linwood Soldani, and Darlene Cortez (Ryan).
Sandra was born in New Orleans, to Herrick and Addie Soldani, on February 4, 1950. She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Chalmette. Sandra retired from the Jefferson Parish School board, as a Para-professional, after 25 years of service. After retiring she moved to Thibodaux, where she became a resident of Thibodaux Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, where she remained until her death.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service in Sandra's memory on Friday, October 14, 2022, in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette, at 10:00 AM.
