Sheila Labit Gonzales

Sheila Labit Gonzales passed away peacefully at her home in St.Bernard, Louisiana on June 10, 2024 at the age of 75. She was the devoted wife of Spencer Gonzales her loving husband of 58 years. She was the proud mother of Tim (Wendy), Carmen, and Jan. Sheila was being comforted by her husband, children, grandchildren, sister, brother, and friends in her final days and time of passing.

Sheila cherished her six grandchildren, including Louis (Caroline), Sarah (Christian), Dalton (Tori), Faith (Tyler), Logan and Kasey. Her five great grandchildren, Trenton, Josie, Terry, Isla and Forrest were her pride and joy, even though her time was limited with these babies, she loved them dearly. Sheila had a close bond with her sister, Nora and brother Jim (LouAnn). She also cared for each of her nieces and nephews, as if they were her own. Her family in England was never far from her thoughts and always in her prayers.

Sheila's passing leaves a void in our hearts, but her memory will live on in the stories we share and the love we continue to feel for her. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was a strong and kind hearted woman who touched the lives of many throughout her time here on earth.

Sheila leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and an unwavering dedication to her family, friends and the community. May she rest in peace and find eternal love from those who have gone before her.

A private memorial will be held for immediate family and friends at a later date. However, the family asks you to please leave a note, share a memory, or upload a photo.
