Sue Austin Hunt passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the age of 79. She was the cherished wife of the late Everett Hunt. Loving mother of Lisa Austin, Paula Beck (Brian), Moira Austin, Naomi Brining (Chris) and the late Norma Darnell. Daughter of the late Fred and Thelma Trant Anderson. Proud grandmother of Michael Martinez, Brett Martinez, Spencer Beck, Amber Beck, Dean F. Long III (Cassandra), Mary King, Rachel King, Nichole Brining (R.J.) and the late Kecia Beck. Great grandmother of Veronica Martinez, Chloe Martinez, Cole Martinez, Joshua Young, Celestia Langevin, Dameon Langevin, Dylan Long and Dominic King. Sue was the former owner of Sue’s Cozy Corner in Chalmette, LA. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and was an excellent pool player. Sue will be forever remembered as a loving and devoted grandmother and her unconditional love for everyone. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. A Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the Chapel. Inurnment will be private.
