Tebault “Tebo” Joseph Burton, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. He was 85 years old. He leaves behind his beloved companion of 25 years, Pam Fleetwood; his cherished children, Debra Sabath, Rena Ray, and Brooks Burton; 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Fannie and Tebault Burton, and his brother, the late Donald Burton.
Tebo proudly served in the Army National Guard. In his civilian life, he was a jack of all trades, managing restaurants such as The Marina Wharf and Visko’s, as well as working with Gordon Transportation and United Cabs. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, companion, and friend. He will be eternally missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, October 10, 2022, at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held in Tebo’s memory at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
