Thomas “Tommy” Joseph Griffin V passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the age of 44. He was the beloved husband of 23 years to Elizabeth Keller Griffin. Loving father of Thomas J. Grffin VI and Allison Griffin. Son of Connie Blancher Shotts and the late Thomas Griffin IV. Step-son of Ralph Shotts. Godson of David Griffin and Patricia Blancher. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and his beloved pets Kaizer, Bree, Bella and Molly (and Angus). Tommy was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish where he enjoyed a 23-year career as a Paramedic. He was well loved and will be deeply missed by his family and by all those whose lives he touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend an evening visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, October 27th from 6:00PM – 9:00PM and again on Friday morning, from 9:00AM – 10:00AM. A funeral service will be held in Tommy’s memory beginning at 10:00AM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
