Thomas Andrew Murphy, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. He was 87 years old. He was the loving husband of Louise Lester Murphy. Devoted father of Shaun Murphy (Lynne), Susan Murphy Oalmann (Darren), Kathleen McNulty Acosta (James), Paulette McNulty (Brett Monnier), and Stacey McNulty Hitt (Anthony). He was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Beloved brother of Ethelyn Raymond, Clifford Murphy, and the late Betty Murphy Stauder. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the late Vesta Arnondin Murphy Brayton, and by his parents, the late Ethelyn Winters Murphy, and the late Thomas Andrew Murphy, Sr.
Thomas proudly served his country in the Naval Reserve and was a retired employee of Kaiser Aluminum. He was an avid outdoorsman and was never happier than when fishing or catching shrimp or crabs. A day spent in the sun was a good day, in his book. He was much loved by his family and friends, and he will always be missed by those who knew him.
