

Mrs. Fossier is survived by three children of her first marriage to the late John Griffin, Sr: Jean G. Hartzog (Arthur) of Spartanburg, SC; John Neel Griffin, Jr. of Blackville, SC; and LeRoy Edwin “Bo” Griffin, of Bamberg, SC; six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Of her second marriage to the late Harry Kenton Kreps, Jr., she is survived by three children: Harry Kenton Kreps, III (Terri) of Lake City, Florida; Lisa Kaye Hebert (Danny) of Slidell, LA; and Richard Karlson Kreps (Dina), of St. Bernard, LA; six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Edith McAdams of Lexington, SC; and by her brother, Burnet D. Shealey, of Honea Path SC.
Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter, the late Dawn Renee Kreps Saucier (Benny); by her third husband, the late Andrew Fossier, Sr.; and by her sister, the late Lois Janet Nye.
Mrs. Fossier was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, who enjoyed listening to Christian music cassette tapes, loved chocolate desserts, crocheting, and sitting and chatting with the ladies and staff at Greenbriar Community Care Center. She adored spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of whom she loved dearly. She will be forever missed by her family, and all those she leaves behind.
Relatives and friends are invited to remember Virginia during a graveside service on Saturday, September 3, 2022, in ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL GARDENS, 701 W. VIRTUE, in Chalmette, at 1:00 PM.
