Yvonne Brandt Koch

Yvonne Brandt Koch passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 26, 2022, at the age of 92. She was born on April 28, 1930, to Lloyd E Brandt Sr. and Leila Lion Brandt. She was a native of New Orleans, a past resident of Arabi for 51 years and current resident of Covington, LA. Beloved wife of 69 years to the late Ernest M “Buddy” Koch. She is preceded in death by her spouse, her son, Chris R. Koch, her parents and her brother, Lloyd E Brandt Jr. Yvonne is survived by her children, Kathleen (Joseph) Guillotte, Carolyn (the late Michael Silcio) Silcio, Geraldine (Jimmy) Shephard, Ricky (Susie) Koch; her grandchildren, Timothy (Shannon) and David (Simone) Guillotte, Yvonne (Quinton) Cook and Eric (Samantha) Silcio, Tina (Duke) Mauterer and Ryan (Joy) Shephard, Kelly (Donald) Talazac and Zachary Koch, Michael and Patrick Koch and her 18 great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. A funeral service in Yvonne's honor will begin at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in St. Roch Cemetery #2.
