Born May 14, 1943, in Chambersburg to the late Bard Landis Miller Jr. and Dolly (Carbaugh) Miller. She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Richard Crimbly
She is survived by her sister Cynthia Miller and her husband Jeffrey Miller; three stepchildren, Karen Updegraff, Stephanie Hoke and Michael Crimbly; a niece Kristy Yarnell (husband Ronnie Yarnell) and their 3 children and 2 stepchildren.
She was a graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School with the Class of 1961. She graduated from Shippensburg State College in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and in 1968 with a Master of Education.
In her early teaching years, she taught at Faust Junior High School and was a business department head. In her later years she taught adult education for the Thompson Institute. She also held secretarial and accounting positions throughout her lifetime.
In her early marriage, she loved traveling with her husband Richard. She also enjoyed gardening, doing needle work, and reading.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Thursday July 1, 2021 in the Parklawn Funeral Home, 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201. The service and internment will follow with Rev. Amy Wagner officiating.
