He was born June 14, 1926 in Elizabethtown, and was the son of the late Isaac K. and Martha Heistand Eisenhower, graduated from Hershey High School in 1944. He served in WWII US Navy in the Pacific Theater. Graduate of Temple University School of Pharmacy and was employed by Rea & Derick Drug Stores where he served as store manager, district manager of several districts and finally retiring from CVS in a management position. He enjoyed gardening and also devoted many hours to his woodworking hobby.
Jim is survived by his wife of 70 years, Eunice; two sons: Robert (Lucinda) and Terry: 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be sent to the SpiriTrust Lutheran Hospice, Menno Haven Benevolent Fund, both of Chambersburg, PA.
