Leroy W Fleagle Jr.

Born on June 25, 1947 in Fort Bragg, NC, to the late Alice (Cordell) and Leroy W. Fleagle Sr.

Surviving Leroy is his loving wife Betty A. Fleagle; son, Troy Fleagle (Eddie Currey); daughters, Heather LaRose, Stephanie Knouse (Erik) and Brittany McCloskey (Daniel); 3 grandchildren, Corey, Courtney and Noah; 4 great grandchildren, and one brother.

Leroy graduated from Chambersburg High School in 1966. From then he went on to work for Hoffman Mills in Shippensburg for 31 years, followed by 3 years with Value City prior to his retirement. He was a family man and a jokester whether that joke was good or bad, and he loved to spend time talking with his family and friends on the phone sharing stories and news with them. Leroy was an avid history buff who enjoyed learning about the Civil War in particular, and he enjoyed western movies and Star Wars.

A visitation will be held on Monday February 3, 2025 from 10:00-11:00am in Parklawns Funeral Home; 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am, and a burial will follow out in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Wounder Warrior’s Project or the American Cancer Society.
